What will be Charlie Crist's future? Will he run for Senate again in 2016 or Governor 2018? I also heard, that he might seek the mayor's office in his hometown. Or will he ruturn to the private sector?

I really hope he runs for senate under the Green Party label. Then when signs start to show he might not get their nomination Crist will try for the Constitution Party.

That mayor thing is rather intriguing as he could pull a Jerry Brown and redeem himself. Personally, I think he's done for.

Run against Rubio in 2016 as a Democrat... Something tells me it's winnable, especially if Rubio is on the ticket.

I don't think his ego will allow him to crawl back to ambulance chasing so My guess is he goes for the senate in 2018 when Bill Nelson will probably retire

He's a plausible candidate for Senate given the relatively weak Democratic bench.

As a former Education Commissioner, State Attorney General and Big-State Governor, he's qualified for numerous cabinet-level posts in a Democratic administration.

Mark my words. He's young enough. He'll be back in 2018.

Hi that's my hometown. The incumbent mayor is a Dem, former state rep, and pretty popular - by all accounts I'd expect him to run for re-election in 2017. Crist also endorsed him in 2013, and several top Crist operatives in 2014 worked on that campaign in 2013 (as did I). I haven't heard anyone talking about Crist running for mayor, except half-jokingly in 2013 before significant Dem candidates entered. I'd say Cabinet (EPA administrator maybe, or Interior) or FL-13.

There is no future for Charlie Crist. Maybe a seat in the cabinet or a placeholder position in the Senate if he is lucky.

He could always move someplace else in Florida and run for an office there couldn't he?

Personally I think he's done for a long time to come imo.

Having exhausted all party lines at this point except the minor third parties, he's done.
