Have ya'll done any today?

I've stayed in the house all day, yet I've managed to spend roughly $160 in the past 16 hours on Christmas gifts for myself and friends. I have no regrets.

I've ordered a couple of things online. I'm not going anywhere near a mall or Big Box store today.

We did.  I got a pound of jalapeņos, a loaf of cheddar cheese, a bottle of El Yucateco salsa verde, some onions, some tomatoes, tortillas, a can of Goya black beans, and a loaf of whole wheat bread.  It seems that we'll be having turkey tacos and turkey sandwiches for the next couple of days.

It wasn't terribly crowded at the supermarket, by the way, although the parking lot was terribly full.  I suppose everyone was shopping at the retail outlets.

NBC10 news (Philly) ran an advertisement for Wal-Mart's Black Friday event as a "story" today at 12:30.  Wal-Mart also sponsored the Rangers/Flyers game on NBC today.  Disgusting.  So I'm guessing that Wal-Mart and Comcast are in cohoots, now?

Goodbye, freedom.
