75% of the early vote is white compared to 65% for the jungle primary. Landrieu will be lucky to break 35%.

I don't think so, but it will be close. I think she'll lose by a larger margin than Pryor but less than Lincoln, maybe by 18-19 points.

Hard to imagine her losing by more than Obama.

Based on the final early voting numbers for the runoff, Landrieu is currently on track to lose by 39-61 (+/- 2%).

Depending on how the composition between Whites/Blacks/Others turns out in the end, Landrieu could also end up losing by a slightly smaller margin than Lincoln.

But for now, I assume that she'll do slightly worse.

That would require Cassidy to get 60.5%, I think not.

Certainly Landrieu will lose by a greater margin than Land.

Probably not, but she'll still lose badly.

Hunch is 15-17% range.  Over 20 would be a surprise.

I'm leaning 'No' but it would not be much of a surprise if she did.

Seeing Mary lose that bad would break my heart. I voted no because I feel like being optimistic.

Landrieu is screwed. She'll be lucky to break 30% at this rate.

^ Wouldn't that ad backfire? "The President needs you to have his back, now more than ever". I'm thinking that would be an ad to motivate the black electorate to vote, not to persuade the critical white Democratic vote which she's collapsing with.

Landrieu will win. Cassidy is not inevitable. Just ask President Dewey.

Sarcasm, IceSpear? Or are you seeing something that suggests a Landrieu victory?

I think her campaign has given up on the whites and is now just hoping for massive black turnout. The early vote numbers show this hope is false.
