Their last poll this year.

2016 Senate+Governor, but I assume they'll poll 2016 President too.

PPP was highly inaccurate in their 2014 polling, particularly in their home state of North Carolina.  They were eviscerated by Nate Silver.

Nate Silver was also inaccurate. So I guess that makes him an idiot, no?

Not at all. But I would wonder if PPP adjusted their methodology after their drubbing and incessant Twitter-brags about NC-Sen.

Everything except right-wing pollsters had bad 2014 polls. But yes, PPP can no longer be considered any sort of gold standard for NC, although I wouldn't call them complete junk by any stretch of the imagination.

People on RRH dislike PPP, but they especially critique PPP's polls in NC. I think during the 2010 cycle, up until August, PPP showed Elaine Marshall down by one or two points, whereas every other pollster had Burr comfortably up. They had Burr at 39, Marshall at 37, and a Libertarian taking like 11%.

PPP also showed Akin as competitive, even after his asinine comments. I certainly wouldn't call them a junk pollster, but there are times when I have difficulty buying some of their results.

Now, if Gonzalez Research were to poll North Carolina this weekend, then maybe I'd pay attention.

Right-wingers accurately captured the gullibility of the American public in 2014.
