I'm watching "Trapper Keeper", and it grossly misrepresents the reasons the Gore campaign had reason to dispute the results in Florida.  Basically, they call him a baby, despite the gravity of the situation and the GOP tricks being pulled.  For BRTD, he sees that, and it's all downhill from there.

For the record, I love SP.

It's because BRTD doesn't understand that satire can parody both liberals AND conservatives and still be funny.

He literally thinks satire should only be liberal.  He elaborates well on why that should be, but its ridiculous from the start.

It's a very funny show at  times, but its political commentary is crappy at least as often as it is insightful (though a lot of the time they just take a boring "moderate hero"/both sides-are-bad-and-both-have-a-point standpoint).

I wonder if he is trying to get in a contest with KCDEM about who is the biggest liberal strawman.

I don't think there's a reason. I just think it's a cool opinion to have, maybe.

The idea that a forum icon like BRTD would feel threatened by someone like KCDem is fairly unreasonable.
