Unfortunately BK, you believe it was a personal attack on you, it wasn't. I don't like you as senator and there wasn't no judgement on your personality, that's unfortunate  you seemed to have thought that.

I will vote to impeach Bacon King, I will probably be the only one to do that? If you don't post a single time in the senate thread without posting a leave of absence, I believe you have to be removed from office.

Senator TNF,
Why do you defend Bacon King and Xahar while condemning Napoleon?

I apologize for my week of unannounced inactivity, promise not to do it again, and thank the majority of my colleagues who consider all of the facts and do not wish to senselessly expel me

Well,
I'm quite happy to see you have apologized for this week of inactivity.
While I will still vote Aye for this impeachment, I believe that you're indeed sincere and that you will try to be more active in the future.

And what is sad is that it appears my good friendship with you has completely been "destroyed" by this episode. But that's all.

I believe Senator BaconKing has acknowledged his absence and the justification for it.

I do take the activity issue seriously, but this doesn't strike me as impeachment-worthy.

I will not support impeachment.

IIRC, BK actually had a pretty legitimate reason for his absence too.  This hackery on Senator Windjammer's part is disappointing, to say the least.

Which hackery? I would like all of us to explain me in which way this is "hackery" to try actually impeach Bacon King because:
1) Had he resigned or impeached, his party chairman (Polnut) would have appointed a new senator, likely Averroes I guess?
2) That's an automatic impeachment
3) And this is your right to believe BK should or shouldn't be impeached, but, he could have had posted a leave of absence.

Rules are rules and I believe they shall be respected. You can disagree with me, but that cannot be described as "hackery".

I would have voted to impeach any senator in the same situation of BK, even senators from my own party. Because once again, that's not a personal attack against him.

I was unaware of 1.  I withdraw my claim that you're doing this with hackish motives, but I still think you're wrong on this one.

Since the result seems to be a foregone conclusion I lean voting Aye to protest the lack of a LOA. I understand that can be difficult to do, but failure to do so should have consequences if the absence extends long enough.

Sure, the Senator should have posted a LOA, but because of the excellent work the Senator has done, and the Election which will happen in like ten days? I have absolutely no intention to vote for his impeachment.

windjammers reasons are good. I think this is valid even if I ultimately don't agree with expelling BK.
