Lean FF very slightly. I'm not a fan at all of a lot of the shock humour that Family Guy has used in their more recent seasons. Some of it is homophobic, transphobic, sexist, racist, etc...but there are a lot of jokes that are good, and the first few seasons of Family Guy should be immortalized for their greatness.

Seth himself is a great talent, a very funny guy and rather good looking to boot.

Early Family Guy was average at best, certainly no actually worthy of a revival. American Dad is of the same mediocre ilk.

The Cleveland Show was practically new Family Guy in blackface.

And his stuff all points to anti-religious bigotry, homophobia, sexism, but most commonly perversion.

The man can be very funny and is very cultured sure, but Ronald Reagan was funny and cultured too, funny/cultured =/= good. Most of the jokes he uses all have something to do with something perverted.

Ted has been the only remotely genuinely good thing out of him at all and even that can get obscene.

Ultimately a juvenile,hypocritical and brash writer who embarrasses the progressive cause more than helps it...just like Brian Griffin.

Family Guy has the same problem as South Park. The consistency of episodes is very uneven, some are pretty good, some are... ugh.

As of Seth himself, it's hard to deny he is a marvellous voice actor.

I was a fan of pre-revival Family Guy.  I no longer care for the show or really give it any attention whatsoever.

I'm undecided as to whether this is because MacFarlane has gotten worse, or I've simply matured and it was crap all along.

FWIW, I never really cared for South Park, with the exception of the movie which was quite good, largely because of its spot-on (but affectionate) parody of Broadway musicals.

Family Guy was never constantly good as a whole. It's pop culture references are great but the show besides that I'm not crazy about. South Park's parody of it was on the nose for accuracy.

American Dad sucks but I like Cleveland yet I never watched his show. The Simpsons/Family Guy cross over was okay but it's amazing how much the Simpsons outclassed FG while they did the crossover.

I loved Ted though. Seth's a fun guy too Family Guy just isn't his best work.
