Does it make sense to allow Senators-elect to allow Senators-elect to post in the legislation introduction thread?  I was thinking of putting forward an amendment to the OSPR for this, but I'm not sure how much would need to be changed or if it is even practical.

I suppose we could just postpone whatever bill they introduce until they are actually sworn in; if they're going to end up sponsoring the bill and suchlike, they should have the right to introduce it.

What is the problem steming from making them wait until they take the oath?

It is just a matter of giving them more opportunity to introduce legislation to the queue, since incumbent Senators are able to introduce legislation for the next session during this time (and before) already.

Originally, bills introduced in the end of the session had to be reintroduced if they were not gotten to by its end, so technically all bills introduced in that period are introduced for the Senate session in which they are introduced, they just aren't gotten to until the next senate.

Also there are a large number of slots that don't go in order and even the ones that do in a situation like with TNF and possible any two other Senators are at the clogging limit, it would not be impossible for a bill introduced during that period to make it on the floor.
