- Fayard is being roundly criticized for an ad where she tries to link Campbell to David Duke, with selective editing.

- John Bel Edwards appears in a Campbell ad.

- Cruz endorses Fleming, though it may be too late.

Probably >90% of politicians in Louisiana are pro-life, and no one cares what someone thought 25 years ago. Campbell, if you're somehow reading this, it was right to state that you're pro-life, of course, but it is now time to move on to some issue where there is actually disagreement between you and Kennedy.

Absolutely. It's enough to look at ratings from Louisiana Right to Life: almost all Democrats boast essentially the same 90-100 ratings as Republicans. Including many urban black legislators..

Only a week left until the runoffs in LA-03, LA-04, and LA-SEN.

Kennedy has spent the runoff campaign tying himself to Trump: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bexcVZBh9Rg

Kennedy's runoff campaign seems to be very low-energy. He is lucky that Campbell has been a flop so far, or else we could be looking at a Democratic pickup here.

Keep in mind that that's exactly what they said in 2014... and Landrieu still exceeded expectations on election day, despite her terrible campaign. LA is not a state where Democratic turnout is significantly down in a runoff election.

^ I wish, but even in 2014, Landrieu's electorate was near 30%, even in early voting, IIRC.

Higgins, but some late breaking stories about unpaid child support could hurt him

meh - Higgins has the whole Trump thing going for him, people feel like he gives a crap about them while Angelle just doesn't. If you connect with someone, it's going to take a lot more than some unpaid child support to beat that back.

Parish results, you know what he means. I remember I once had a history teacher who adamantly said "I don't care what Louisiana says, they are called counties, not parishes." LOL.
