Wulfric announcing his endorsements as if they will actually swing people's votes is one of the most annoying things he does.

Well, he also thought that the 300 or so active members of the Atlas forum could have enough sway with polling organizations to potentially put Gary Johnson over 15% nationally.  At least his delusions of grandeur extend to the rest of us as well.

Why did Roy Cooper wait so long before jumping into a race for higher office? Would have been a strong candidate in Senate and Gubernatorial races before 2016. Now too old to go further on national stage.

LA-Sen: This was expected, but Micth Landrieu is endorsing Fayard.

Campbell, in turn, has released a number of New Orleans area endorsements.

Also, props to Campbell for being the only candidate who would make global warming a prioirity:

Kind of risky in an oil-dominated state like Louisiana, but he's made coastal erosion an issue for decades, and this fits into that larger narrative.

Personally, most Sanders voters I know there are supporting Campbell and things like this are why.

Fayard seems a bit more promising, IMO.

Wait, I thought he already did? Or did only Mary endorse him previously?

^ Yeah, its been a pretty badly kept secret, as they've been helping her raise money for at least a few months now. I guess this just makes it more overt.

LA-Sen: Some novel is accusing Boustany of having a prostitution scandal. There's not much, other than the author's allegations, to back it up, but here it is:

Boustany is the best of the Republicans in this race, IMO, and is a good guy, so I'd hate to see him do poorly because of something like this (esp. if unsubstantiated).

^ Boustany better then Kennedy? On which issues?

And, BTW, i looked candidates questionnaire answers on prolifelouisiana.com: almost every candidate for Senate and House (CD 3 and 4) - responded pro-life. Even Fayard, considered "most liberal" among serious candidates, did so in 93% of all cases. Campbell - didn't send answers, but has 82% ratings from legislative days. Almost all Republicans - 100%. It's Louisiana)))

No. I prefer variety. Pro-life Democrats in Louisiana suit me fine. But pro-choice Republicans in Vermont or Connecticut - equally fine...

So between John N. Kennedy's oyster-shuck-to-gut denial that he was involved in the Boustany allegations and JBE's "answered a prostitute's call" ad from last fall, I've concluded that LA politicians have the best sick burns out of anywhere in the country (and the most entertaining politics)

I'm trying to imagine a Washington state pol do something like that and it makes me sad that all of them are such wimpy careerist hacks.

That is seriously my fave ad of all time, BTW

LA-Sen: The quality is kinda crappy, but here's a forum with Campbell, Fayard, Boustany and Kennedy (starts around the 43 min mark).

NC-Sen: Republicans worried Burr isn't taking his race seriously.

LA-Sen: Campbell releases his tax returns, Fayard won't.

In one of the stranger photo ops I've seen of this race, Maness seems to be appealing to the alt right at a Milo Yiannopoulos event:

The things you'll do when you're trailing freakin David Duke in the polls...

Looks like Maness and Duke may actually be competing for some of the same votes. I really hope Duke does not make the runoff, that makes me less worried.

^ The Twitter wars between Duke and Maness have actually been pretty hilarious to watch.

Other than Fayard, Maness has probably attacked Duke the most. Many Duke tweeters have been posting unflattering (to say the least) memes of Maness.

LA-Sen: Well, I guess Maness is okay with sexual assault:
