McCain never trailed any of his primary challengers, and his primary challengers got closer toward the end zone, not further away. I think Flake is finished.

Interesting.  I'd thought Flake would be considerably more popular among AZ Republicans than McCuck is.

McCain endorsed Trump. Flake didn't, and along with Ben Sasse was probably Trump's harshest critic. If rumors of the Trump camp holding a grudge are true, I totally expect Flake to lose the primary if forces can just coalesce around one challenger.

My guess is that he thought it would help him in the GE, but he didn't think hard enough about the primary.

Ugh! I really hope Flake does not lose the primary. If he makes it through the primary he should be able to barely win the general election.

It is very important that we have several Senators who are of the LDS Church. If the Republican is LDS, I do not have as much of an issue with that Republican.

Mormons actually practice what they preach, actually help the poor, actually live up to moral standards.
