I would encourage people like you to tell that to the probably 15-20% of Oklahoma Dems that voted for Coburn in the general election. (and many of whom probably voted for Henry too in the Gov. election in 2002)

And the leftists wonder why the Democrat party keeps losing elections.

I have said before that I despise Barbara Mikulski fully.  And though Coburn is a tad nuts on social issues, he's one of the few Democrats or Republicans left that actually believes in cutting spending from government and being a fiscal hawk (a revolutionary thought in this era).

So, he gets my vote.

Oklahoma has a lot of DINOs. Coburn ran significantly worse than Bush, whom you're not much of a Democrat if you voted for.

Please don't bash Oklahoma.  I don't go around bashing other states.

I personally voted for Brad Carson in 2004, but I like Tom Coburn.

Pretty partisan but pretty much all liberal vs conservative matchups.  I'd like to see Chafee vs Nelson (NE) as a matchup.

As a sidenote to BushOklahoma, is there anybody you DON'T like? Smiley

I didn't really have to think much about any of them, maybe a little bit on 3 but I prefer moderate democrats so Baucus was an obvious choice.

I might pick several Republicans, but not these 4.

Not really!  As you probably can tell very well from my posts in this and other topics, I am a Christian.  I am not ashamed to say that.  It is because of the Love that Jesus Christ showed me when I did not deserve it, that I can show love to all I see.  I may not like their actions or their policies, but I love them as a human being and as a creation of my Heavenly Father.  If they are Christians, I rejoice with them.  If they are not Christians, I pray that my God would convict their hearts.  Like I said, I did not and do not deserve the Love of Christ, but its by His grace that I love each and every person who walked and walks the face of the earth.  I love everybody, from the Rev. Billy Graham even down to Osama Bin Laden.  I do not like what Bin Laden has done, but I continue to pray for him that he would be convicted by the one true God.

Thank you for asking, future-prez.

OK my "24 hours after the last voter" poll closing time looks like the poll will never end.  So I'm changing it to 12 hours.

Also, do any more conservatives feel like voting in this?

Seeing as how it took four days to cut ten senators down to five, I'm going to do two brackets at a time.  To make up for lost time, this time I'll do three brackets, and it'll be two at a time after that.

Same as before, the poll stays open until 12 hours after the last vote.

Bracket 2:
1. Joe Biden (D-DE) vs. Chuck Hagel (R-NE)
2. Barack Obama (D-IL) vs. Ron Wyden (D-OR)
3. Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) vs. Mike DeWine (R-OH)
4. Norm Coleman (R-MN) vs. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX)
5. Mark Pryor (D-AR) vs. Jeff Bingaman (D-NM)

Bracket 3:
1. Jim DeMint (R-SC) vs. Pat Leahy (D-VT)
2. Susan Collins (R-ME) vs. Tom Carper (D-DE)
3. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) vs. Carl Levin (D-MI)
4. John Warner (R-VA) vs. Arlen Specter (R-PA)
5. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) vs. James Inhofe (R-OK)

Bracket 4:
1. Bill Frist (R-TN) vs. Ben Nelson (D-NE)
2. Lincoln Chafee (R-RI) vs. Mary Landrieu (D-LA)
3. Richard Durbin (D-IL) vs. Harry Reid (D-NV)
4. George Allen (R-VA) vs. Gordon Smith (R-OR)
