Are people with multiple top teams just casual fans?  I can't even think of one team that I would gravitate to naturally in a Mets losing campaign.  I mean... yea, I can usually pick a team that might be a good story like the Royals or a team to beat a rival (a la Giants in 2010 vs. the Phillies), but that changes ever year.  It's the Mets and only the Mets that matter, and I can't see it being any different.

Brewers fan since birth, I now live in the DC area and the girlfriend is a Nationals fan, Dad lives in Western Missouri so I've been to a couple of Royals games, had a really good experience at a Rays game (got free tickets because my brother gave a batting practice ball he got to a little girl) and I like the White Sox in order to annoy my former roommate who's a Twins fan.      I would agree with this. The other teams I rank highly I put there because I have mild interest in them for various reasons. My ability to care about baseball begins and ends with the Giants. Once our season is over, I stop watching.
