Alaska, though I'd rather not live in either.

Alaska.

Alaska has been in an upward trajectory in job creation for a long time.  While Ohio has been in a lost generation since the early 2000's due to the manufacturing crisis. Having food on table besides having to live in much colder weather buts having no food on the table and living just slightly warmer on average.

Alaska, despite its disturbing recent anti-Croatian bias.

Huh? Have they tried to incarcerate Dennis Kucinich or something?

Was trolling, but I was talking about Begich.

Eh, if I didn't have to think about my career and my friends and family, I'd probably pick Alaska. But in the real world, Ohio.

I've lived a little less than half of my life in Ohio, and I would like, decades from now, to retire to Alaska. That should sum it up.

Live? Ohio, because it's connected to the real world and I'm not a hermit. Alaska is probably a better place to visit and is probably a "better" place overall though.

I'm sorry, for me it's Ohio no question. I can't handle spending like half of the year in darkness/horribly cold weather. Not to mention the inability to "get away" and enjoy a different environment once in a while without buying a plane ticket.

Ohio.  Better politics, and I have relatives there.
