Fort Wayne. If this were anywhere else in Utah, I'd vote otherwise, but this place...

Provo Utah, unless it's a dry city......

It isn't.

Since you seem to know Provo, what's wrong with it?

"According to a study released by the Bay Area Center for Voting Research, Provo is the most conservative city in the United States with a population over 100,000.[12][13] Local discussion of national politics tends to fall within the spectrum of moderately conservative to arch-conservative thought."

per the Wikees.  Also... home of Brigham Young University.  So I hit up a bar looking to pick up a lady and she turns out to be a Mormon 95% of the time.  Yea... give me Fort Wayne.

It's extremely right-wing, even by the standards of Utah (Utah County was the most strongly in favor of banning gay marriage of any county in the state, for example). It also has a more suburban feel than SLC or even Ogden, which isn't my cup of tea. Really, though, it's more how well I could handle living there than anything. Personally, I'm fine with just visiting the place, but you'd probably do just fine there.

If I were to live anywhere in Utah County, it would be the rural mountains parts, where you can still get the scenery, but are sufficiently out of the way so as to be your own man.

Provo. It's close to SLC and has beautiful scenery.

Fort Wayne is one of the most depressing cities I have ever been to in my entire life. It should be bombed. With nukes. Many times.

Let me guess.

16-18 years of age.  Suburban.  White.  Amirite?

I picture Ft Wayne as North Jacksonville.

It basically is, and  Provo is basically Colorado Springs with Mormons instead of Evangelicals.

The only fetish I see from this gaggle of post-pubescent elitists is for areas with lotsa whites.

Don't worry chaps, I was there as a white subrbanite once.  Experience culture, and you also shall overcome.

West Virginia has plenty of whites, yet who here wants to live there?

Isn't Provo scheduled to get Google Fiber some time in the near future? Regardless, Utah > Indiana.
