Only seems fitting since Fox only became Attorney General in the first place because Bullock left his seat open in 2012 to run for governor. I think he owes Bullock this one, and besides Fox's chances are a lot better to run for governor in 2020 when Bullock's term-limited.

I just hope Zinke or Racicot also stay out of this race. Bullock's doing a strong job as governor especially in improving Montana's school system and he definitely deserves a 2nd term.

I think Zinke will wait on running for another office, and aim for Tester in 2018. No clue about Racicot.

Racicot? Jeez, I haven't heard that name in ages. He was talked about for Senate this year, but he's likely done.

ugh. Quit talking about politicians like they owe one another something. That's an awfully stupid thing to say.

Do the Democrats have a shot at winning the AG race in 2016?

Its not much, but it depends on the quality of the candidate they get.

Other than Romney, Fox was actually the only statewide Republican to win in MT in 2012.

And whoever their Republican House representative is would technically be statewide.
