What do you view as the regions biggest problems, and as Emperor, how do you plan to approach them?

Ah, I didn't see that one!

Well the biggest problem right now is the rising unemployment, which is due to a bit of insecurity nationally, I think the best way to move forward would be a regional tax credit to businesses who hire employees and tie it to the employee's wage (to a certain degree).

One tax solution that I really believe will help the region is a progressive real estate tax (I know it sounds like a generic liberal campaign message). If we put in place an estate tax for inherited properties whose worth is $3,000,000+ (the amount would be determined by the legislature), we could bring in some badly needed tax revenue while not harming the poorest members of our society.

I'd like to incorporate my family more into my advertisements, so here's a video of us on Thanksgiving, and I hope y'all will remember this when you head into the voting booth this Friday.

What regulations do you support on gambling?

(Really a non answer but) I think the current regulations are fine.

So your answer is... none? You don't support any restrictions any gambling?

It's legal for certain types of gambling, and for all types of gambling for charitable purposes, of course I'd go to the legislature to amend the bill so that no inhumane types of gambling is going on (like cockfighting).

So I guess I do support some changes in our gambling system. Tongue

Would "inhumane" forms of gambling include horse racing?

I don't think that horse racing itself is inhumane, but I think that the horses can be subject to a lot of abuse from some terrible owners, so I don't think I'm too much in support of gambling on horse racing since gambling could worsen the problem.

My friends,
last night I won the race for IDS Emperor, and with nearly 90% of the vote! I am extremely happy with these results (and the fact that the IDS had higher turnout in this election compared to the at-large Senate election in this region, 70% for Emperor compared to 58% for Senate)!

I know, with the legislature, we can move the Imperial Dominion of the South forward, and I welcome all of you to pitch in ideas on what we can do to lower unemployment and grow wages.

Thank you very much and Dave bless!

This piece of legislation is certainly great news for the people of the Imperial Dominion of the South, and I'm very happy that it passed!

I'd like to take this time to formally endorse the Bore/Bacon King ticket in the February Presidential election.

These two are smart, no-nonsense leaders who can move our country forward, and ones who will help our region move forward as well.

I wish them the best of luck and my unequivocal support.

Good morning everybody!

The legislature just expelled Mr. Yelnoc, so I'm looking for some qualified applicants to serve the South!

Thank you all very much!

So a few people are messaging me about something and I'd like to make a couple of points.

  • I recruited one person to register in the Imperial Dominion of the South, Miles, so that we could have more active voters in all of our states.
  • I'm not trying to destroy the Mideast, nor am I trying to recruit conservatives to the South (lol).

Although I welcome the increased activity, I won't be threatened by a certain Governor on claims that have no basis in reality.

Thank you all very much for your time.

I'd also like to point out that we still have a vacant seat in the legislature that needs to be filled, only for a week or so.

I'd like to say that I'm extremely happy that we have a new person that will be stepping up to be the next legislator to fill out the remainder of Yelnoc's term!

I'd like to appoint badgate to the legislature of the Imperial Dominion of the South!

Congratulations! Grin

I'd just to like to point out two things.

1. The IDS has ratified the Reintroducing the Efficient Referenda Amendment with a vote that is (currently) 3-0, with Maxwell, Dereich, and badgate voting in favor of the amendment.
2. There's still six hours left to vote in the IDS election! Please vote!

I'd like to congratulate Duke, Maxwell, and X for being re-elected (in Duke's case, elected) to the Imperial Legislature! I'd like to thank everybody who voted in this election, and I am very pleased that I will have the chance to work with a hardworking group of accomplished legislators!

I also have full election results up here.

The Recall Amendment fails in the Imperial Dominion of the South, with Representatives Maxwell, X, Badgate, and Pingvin voting against the measure, and with Representative Dereich abstaining.

Emperor, how do you respond to the escalation of anger and possible violence on both sides of the "Civil Rights" Act?

Everyone's overreacting and they all need to chill.
