One of the redistricting gurus should win 2011. Or just "The map drawers"

What was it for previous years? Let's figure out 2004-14 (2004 was of course mypalfish)

Did you go back and read through all of 2004's posts or something?

The mypalfish episode is well known by those of us who were here in 2004 as well as those who weren't. He'd be an obvious choice for that year.

Speaking as someone who joined in 2008, mypalfish's accolades thread is by far the most enduring legacy of 2004 Atlas.

There's many good options. If we go by luckiest hack, there's Keystone Phil and that guy who got MD Gov right (name escapes me) If we go by most hilarious troll, it's boshembechle in a landslide, followed by KCDEM. Good posters in general include Miles, ElectionsGuy, and several others.

Overall, I think it's a tie between Phil and KCDEM.

Phil for having the confidence, after his terrible failure in 2006, to predict that Brownback was going to win and stick with it all the way through. To do that despite the polling that showed Davis leading over and over again, the media/atlas sentiment that Brownback was dead meat, the huge risk of being wrong, and never even show a sign of fleeting confidence - that's just amazing, and it's something he really should be commended for (Though of course, it's important to note that Phil did not have a perfect year. He predicted that Braley, Hagan, and Begich would win.) . True, I shook my head at the KS Gov polls for many months, but in Mid-September I gave in and believed them. Phil stuck it out all the way through, and for that he should be commended.

KCDEM gets it for making us all have a good laugh with his trolling, for being right about all the polls being junk, even if it wasn't in the way that we thought, and for not leaving the forum in disgust over the election not going the way he wanted and hoped it would go.

Phil had a great year. I'd argue against Bushie because he didn't do anything new this year. Maybe if he got married or something.

WTF? You're literally hitting on someone who is physically a decade younger than you and mentally 2 decades younger than you.

I hope I win the "Worst Post of 2014" contest if it arises.
