Harmless FF right now, though If there's any new senator that I know the least, its this guy.

Slight HP for defeating Begich, but I really have no strong opinion at this point.

Slight HP until otherwise known for being a good guy. And it's not for beating Begich - he generally seems like a Bush-era Conservative, which, to me, is markedly worse than a Joe Miller.

Massive HP. Not only for knocking out Begich and just being another McConnell stooge, but now the Senate will have two hackish Republican Senators from my home state. Undecided

Murkowski is not a hack by any stretch of that word.

I was talking about Ohio. God forbid if I was from Alaska. Tongue

The two hackish Senators I was referring to was Sullivan (a conservative from Ohio who mostly fundraised this year in Ohio), and Rob Portman who serves his own party's interests (NRSC especially) before our own state.

Massive FF, both for defeating Begich and for being a mainstream, non-Tea Party conservative.

Dude, you were mad at Brian Schweitzer for not running for Senate. Who are you to criticize Portman for being at the NRSC?
