Oh my god how is this man allowed to have a platform to spew this nonsense?

And of course, let's not forget the token comment:

How did anyone ever think he was a serious Presidential Candidate?

How far away 2008 seems now...

If teachers unions had done more to effectively teach students, the achievement gap which plagues African-American communities would not be as significant a problem.

I'm going to print out your post just so that I can throw it in the garbage.

Well, that's complete lunacy.

On the other hand, while I don't think it's the chief problem, I do think there's some truth in the idea that there will be disproportionate violence against a group of people that has disproportionately higher contact with the police. Does that erase the significant undertones of racism that often underpin this relationship? No. But I do think there's more than one problem that needs to be addressed, and throwing all law enforcement under the bus because of the small percentage of bad apples doesn't do much for anyone.

Yeah, didn't his idea of being "tough on crime" involve arresting homeless people, graffiti artists, etc.??

Then 9/11 happened and he became "America's Mayor" and milked it for all its worth. Remember his joke of a presidential campaign?
