Eek... would Venstre actually have them in a coalition?

And this one from Glistrup from the Progress Party

The impressive part is that he died in 2008, and the party has run in national campaigns since 2001

Now he reminds me of someone... Svend Åge Saltum from Borgen. From what I've read the resemblance is quite intentional.

(Bloomberg) -- Danish PM Helle Thorning-Schmidt’s Social Democrat-led bloc leads opposition 50.5% to 49.1%, according to Voxmeter poll published by Ritzau.

OK, how accurate do Danish polls tend to be? Because Stephen Kinnock's missus i.e. the Danish PM was fully present for a blow-up just under a month ago.

A shame that the Red Bloc appears to have lost and DPP have done so well, but it won't be easy for Venstre to govern, so that's a small blessing.

So despite topping the poll and increasing her vote share, she ends up resigning. That seems non-sensical to me.

Failing to do that makes HTS a failure

That wasn't exactly her fault -  it was Radikale and SF who lost 18 seats between them.

Today the new members of Parliament signed the Constitution. In the picture, it is the youngest member of the new Parliament, 21-year-old Tilde Bork from DPP, who signs it in front of a picture of the 1915 constitutional convention.

I've seen this picture before on my tour of Christansborg; although I wonder who the bloke is who is looking in a different direction to everyone else.

For the first time in three decades the number of manual workers (incl. office workers) increased in the new Folketing - from 14% to 18,4%:

DPP 18 of 37
Red Greens 6 of 14
SD 6 of 47

Libs, Cons and SPP have 1 each
LA, The Alternative and Radikale (unsurprisingly) have none

What would be the equivalent stats for the UK House of Commons?
