I said Ringo was my favorite Beatle earlier. What about you?

(My guess is option 1, 3, 6, or 7 will get the most votes.)

John. George is a very close second and occasional first, depending on the time of day.

John Lennon for sure. They're all great though. Best rock band ever (by far).

George.  Either Harrison or Martin, but, either way, George.

Yeah, I'm kind of surprised by the poll results. John definitely wrote/sang lead on most of my favorite Beatle songs.

Am I the only one who honestly can't narrow it down?

And frankly Pete Best deserves his own category here

Paul is the best personality and the best human being in the Beatles. John was a gigantic jerk, but probably the best songwriter of them all.

George was the best. He was everything as a person the hypocritical Lennon's songs preached about and his music was great, too. Paul was too pop oriented.

I much prefer the Rolling Stones to the Beatles but they weren't bad either.

Like Paul, John, and  George so it's hard to choose.  Ringo I'm not crazy about but his wife is my favorite Bond girl.

Paul has the most recognizable solo music but I like both John and George. John was a dick but he has the most memorable personality. George just did music and that makes him as enduring as Paul.

William Campbell.

Seriously, though, it would have to be John Lennon by far.  He never strayed far from his 50s/early 60s roots, and I admire that greatly.  It's a shame he was murdered, because we need people like him in the music business today.
