Whatever it is, they aren't going to do it. I highly doubt the hackers have the real-world capability to launch a major terrorist attack of such magnitude.

If that happens, that's too bad, but the West will have to bomb Pyongyang.

They're going to fly hijacked airplanes into movie theaters?

But yes, RIP Eraserhead. We will never forget you. Cry

Well I hope they keep releasing e-mails from actors and execs. Those are great reading.

The funny thing is that The Interview looks really terrible.

Wouldn't it be the damnedest thing if that was their intention in launching the attacks and pinning them on North Korea? If it turned out this whole thing was a humanitarian "ends justify the means" strategy to bring down the Juche regime. The idea being that it's worth it for a few dozen/hundred civilians to be killed if it means the end of the North Koran regime's stranglehold on the people of North Korea.

Yeah, this movie probably would have faded into obscurity after one mediocre weekend at the box office if it weren't for the free publicity it's getting.

The early reviews suggest that it is probably pretty bad.

What are the chances that someone inside Sony hacked themselves in order to gin up publicity for this?

They've released some pretty embarrassing, not to mention privacy violating (SSNs, medical records), things that I doubt they'd want out there.

Well folks, the terrorists have won.

The NY premier that was supposed to happen on Thursday has been canceled.

More importantly, Sony is going to let any theaters that don't feel comfortable showing the movie pull it.

Top five theater chains have pulled the movie.

I suggest that the White House do a screening just to see what NK tries to do. Tongue

CNN reporting that the US government is fairly sure this was the North Korean government acting ... Pretty scary precedent to give into this thug-style rights infringement.

Are we sure this just isn't the plot of an upcoming Black Mirror?

Can't believe there are people who are genuinely afraid of NK. It's laughable.

I'm more afraid of Ted Cruz leading a overthrow of the U.S. government than North Korea attacking us.

Time to start bombing Pyongyang...They've crossed several "Red Lines" here.

As for shutting the movie down, it doesn't look like it would've been good anyways, so no loss there.
