In my opinion, the two strongest candidates both parties could realistically nominate. Discuss with maps. I think it would come down to Virginia and Florida. Kasich needs both, Hillary only needs one.

Yeah ... Why?  Suburbs are not blue regions at all.  Before Obama, they were red leaning, now I'd say they're battlegrounds.  A moderate like Kasich would do quite well, IMO, even against a strong Democrat like Hillary.
