40%.

Bush is going to be a turnout depressor for conservatives. I'm not a believer in the whole "Romney/McCain made conservatives" stay home bit, but Bush? Bush would do it. No reason to be enthused for him.

If he does make it out of a primary somehow, probably somewhere around this, maybe even 52-45.

Bush 49.2%
Clinton 48.9%

Remember though, Hillary doesn't necessarily need Ohio (or Florida) to win the election, while Jeb probably needs both.

Jeb is a poor fit for Ohio. Hillary 51-48% just like Obama 2012.

No connections to Ohio, high-turnout Presidential election. I have yet to see a poll showing any potential Republican nominee having a chance in Ohio... with the caveat that I have yet to see one between Hillary Clinton and John Kasich.

Give it time. Quinnipiac polls Ohio often.

Re: Predict Jeb's % in Ohio (general election)

Since 1964, Ohio has performed five percentage points within the percentage margin in the U.S. Popular Vote. And it is the only state, since 1964, which has carried every time for presidential-election winners.

I would guess that Ohio will, in 2016, once again perform within five points from the national number.

Ohio will probably be around R +1 in 2016, so it depends on Hillary's national margin. If shes up by 7 nationally now, she would be up around 52-46 in Ohio.

 H.Clinton  51%
 J.Bush      47%

Clinton 50%-Bush 48% (if J.Kasich (R) is the VP nominee)
