I'd like to thank Zephyr Teachout and (to a lesser extent) Howie Hawkins for this.

Big oil and gas will  probably jump on the fracking regulation bandwagon as a way to stop smaller operations from saturating the market.

You really don't understand how Massachusetts politics works at all, do you?

Perhaps not. Western Massachusetts is a foreign and bizarre subset of America, as evidenced by the 2014 elections. They voted for that fiend Red Sox hater Coakley! That is especially interesting as they unveil their Xboxes and Ipads built with Gods Great Gas.

Perhaps God placed some substance in their groundwater to cause such erratic behavior?

None of the sentences in this post have anything to do with any of the others.

Indeed, large firms have been willing to negotiate regulations with states based on best practices and latest technologies. They see this as better than a ban/moratorium. It is also true that some of the worst environmental practices have been by small operators who need to cut corners to stay competitive.
