Though that is not say that I do not have concerns, particularly with the Midwest being kept in mind (though I must admit I did not follow that quite as closely as most were thanks to the heavy work load over the holidays and so forth).

I think it illustrates the difficulty with controversial players mentioned in reference to the At-Large seats. Regions are not unaffected by this, but ultimately if indeed the process is driver by outsider then one would hope that upon the vote the results would reflect the true desires of the region in question. That said obviously, the distraction can be a negative.

That said, the importance of the potential motivation for competence and activity has landed me on the side of voting aye if for no other reason then to not be deciding vote against this measure even if I do have some concerns, I sympathize with the overarching objective.
