I think he said something about not liking it, but it's nowhere near his South Park obsession.

Bob's Burgers almost certainly. Neither is my favorite. I think Family Guy is better at its best, but Bob's Burgers is consistently awesome. The two that come to mind are Awww Topsy and the new one with Bob's father 10 days ago. Honestly, I missed a lot of season 3 and 4 because I wasn't particularly inspired to keep up with Fox on Sundays, but I started again when Mulaney came out this year. I've probably seen about 50 episodes which should be a good enough sample at least.

Family Guy, on the other hand, hasn't had a really stellar episode since Season 9 which was a roller coaster. The Tea Party one was OK but just not quite as good as earlier stuff. Season 11 was just all around horrid - Bigfat, Road to Vegas and the retelling of the Christmas story were abysmal. I may have laughed one time combined on those. There were maybe 3 episodes that season that were even decent.

Also, Kristen Schaal is perfect. She makes Gravity Falls better than either. Yes, that's right, I actually like something on Disney Channel. Quite a bit too.

I watched Season 1 of Bob's Burgers (Archer is one of my favorite shows, so I figured I would give it a try) and laughed once. Family Guy, while highly overrated, has amused me more.

Oh yeah, great show. Hopefully Disney doesn't....Disneyfy it too much in the future.

I don't hate Bob's Burgers. I thought the couple episodes I saw were alright, but they didn't make me want to watch the whole show or anything. Certainly not on the level of South Park, or modern day Simpsons, I'd rank it as a forgettable but enjoyable show.

However my vote is obvious.

Family Guy

I love Bob's Burgers too but it's not as good as Family Guy. All the voices are done by men except Louise, we get it.

This seems to be one of those situations where it's popular to hate something that many people like, Nickelback being a famous example.

Family Guy used to be psuedo-funny, but then it just went downhill a season or two after the revival...sans the "Road to" and Star Wars episodes that is.

Bob's Burgers started off really bland, but it has it's own little groove now. And it has a variety of jokes not reliant on political issues or random gags and great characters...not cut-outs (Chris, Meg, Lois), not mouthpieces (Brian, Stewie, and even Peter...), or insults (Quagmire).

Right now, I think Bob's Burgers is definitely better. Family Guy has been pretty mediocre overall for the past year. I'm not asking for the greatness of Seasons 4 and 5 (the first two post-revival seasons), but they really seem to be phoning it in right now.

Yes, and Avatar was obviously the greatest movie of all time.

@Snow: Tell me you're making a knock on James Cameron and not Shyamalan's crap.

@Shua: And anyway the true Avatar is a very beautiful cartoon and indeed very popular. So popular it got a sequel series and regrettably a Sham-a-screw-up.

Bronies are fairly disturbing fandom, but the cartoon from which they come is fairly aesthetically pleasing, if naturally a bit corny looking (because c'mon the target audience was girls in the first place).

And in the land of "adult cartoons", The Boondocks is not only more intelligent than the other adult cartoons  (sans The Simpsons mayhaps), but better looking too.

No need to give in to despair for your eyes yet.

I was referring to the Cameron movie, as in that it was scenery porn but otherwise an awful overrated film.

Family Guy has been in zombie mode for years. Bob's Burgers is still fresh.

Well, from what I've heard, Avatar is among the greatest cartoons of all times. Tongue

(really need to watch it one of these days BTW)

The greatest movie of all time, whatever it was, had decent costume, sets and cinematography.
