I agreed with the Brown decision, iffy on the Garner decision. That one I would agree is a little unfair but the cops knew him and he had an extensive criminal record. I am concerned thusly if the cops were trying to control the situation and if Garner had just emptied out his pockets and showed he wasn't dealing drugs, I don't necessarily think the cops would have bothered him further.
The thing about the Garner case is that the NYPD forbids its officers from using chokeholds. Even if what the officer did were not criminal, he should have faced disciplinary action for it.
