My grandparents live in Portland. It's a nice little city, even if the show that glamorizes it is a nightmare.

The show it's based on paints an endearing yet quaint and nigh-insufferable portrait of it. If I was going to leave the Mid-West, it'd probably be for the Pacific Northwest. I'd probably hate anyone I met from there, but it's amusing. FC on balance, I guess. I could probably find a number of craft beers there when need be.

I'm no fan of Portland on political issues. Bernie Sanders easily won the Oregon primary and Portland, losing only one county in OR. I feel lucky that Sanders didn't win any counties close to where I live.
