Does this mean for the purposes of the minimum wage?  At the national level in Atlasia, there is a separate minimum wage for the untipped pay of tipped workers, which is being gradually lifted to equal that of nontipped employees.

Yes.  The Mideast should lead in guaranteeing tipped workers the same minimum wage as everyone else.  They should not be at the mercy of tips when it comes to earning enough for a decent living.

Employees in tipped positions have an opportunity to make money in a way that those in other positions do not, so I don't believe they need to have the same base wage all of a sudden.  But if that is what you want, then the bill needs to say that the minimum wage is the same for tipped and untipped employees.

TDA's bill is amended as such now. If no one else wishes to add to debate, a final vote will come soon.

So the Federal government has a scheduled proposition to slowly make the minimum wage of tipped and untipped employees the same over time and this bill would ultimately do the exact same, but do it now instead of over time?

Yes.  It's not too soon for the Mideast to lead on this.

A final vote will now be taken for this bill. The Assembly has 48 hours to vote Aye, Nay, or Abstain.
