I prefer not to have to ponder such a Hobson's choice.

I prefer not to have to ponder such a Hobson's choice.

I feel like this is the point to remind the forum that aren't you technically an Iowan farmer in addition to all your many other hats?

IIRC doesn't Torie hate Iowa because he got busted there?

As to the pot bust, no, not really. It just added another interesting story to my growing portfolio of non age appropriate as it were adventures in recent years. Smiley Winterset is quite charming for a small town, although it sure isn't Hudson (one is dullsville, one is not). My main beef with Iowa, based on experience, is that its gene pool has been so degraded over the generations by massive out migration, that about the only intelligent person left there is Angus. Oh wait, didn't Angus move to Lancaster, PA?

Yes, I forgot about the Iowa farm bit. Not much activity there. We sold off the un-developable bottom land corn fields which are subject to flooding from the Middle River, and kept the upland and land along the roads for future development. So someday, I will get into the subdivision business I guess, if still alive then. I have done about everything else there is to do when it comes to real estate, so I might as well cap it off by becoming a real estate developer. Tongue
