FDR and Reagan come back from the dead and both parties get to have their dream candidate nominee. What happens?

What year? The year is important because the map can go either way depending on the year.

I was thinking 2016 but maybe it would be more interesting if this was an earlier year. I wonder if it was 2016 though if FDR would do better in the south then any other Democrat due to people remembering there grandparents fond memories of him. Then again bonzo was a lot more recent.

Stump speeches and the debates would be amazing

"Now I'll have you know that the Republican nominee in this election has admitted openly that he proudly cast his first four votes for me.  I'm glad to have such a ringing endorsement from such a courteous challenger."

"Now there you go again Frank..."

Tough choice! Two of my favorite presidents.
I could see a potential Electoral collage tie. Perhaps a slight popular vote edge to Reagan, assuming he wins California.

FDR won the South, Reagan underperformed here against Carter.

Roosevelt won win every state Democrats win today and more. Reagan is an eighties phenomenon that relied on an apathetic public.
