You don't think Graham or Pataki will run? (Granted the answer to the question has zero effect on the election)

Mook is already working on special projects for Hillary. With Cecil bowing out, Mook seems to be the leading choice for Hillary's campaign manager.

Pitaki has no chance of running. He flirted with the idea in 08 and 12, making noise about running is just his way of staying in the papers. The last good shot he had was in 2000, he probably only would have run then though if McCain hadn't since McCain pretty much had the moderate vote locked up.

I can only hope for a GOP clown car comparable to the 2012 nominating process, and I think Carson's strength at the moment is a good indicator of that happening.

No chance of running? Can you read his mind?

I don't see him being nominated, but I'm not ruling out him running.

Pataki may actually go with it this time because he realizes this is probably his last realistic attempt for a run given his age. That's the impression I've gotten, anyway. He may easily back out like the other times, though, and it would be no surprise at all.

I'll make of these lists. Republicans that I think are running:

Jeb Bush
Rand Paul
Rick Santorum
Ben Carson

I get the feeling the rest of them are still deciding, but these guys are in.

I know sources who work in the GOP who told me back in 2012 that Pataki was dead serious about running and that the campaign website (that was published here, btw) was a real deal. Walter Jones Jr. also had a shadow campaign ready in case Ron Paul decided not to run.

Christie's been getting foreign policy briefings throughout the year, a strong indicator of his intentions to run:

Sanders says he will make a decision on whether to run for president by March (including a decision on whether to run as a Democrat or an Independent):

Meanwhile, a "senior Rubio advisor" says that he will have an "aggressive travel schedule next month", and…

Christie's creating his foreign policy platform. Looks like Bush isn't keeping him out.

What are the chances Sanders runs as an independent while feeling Hillary is in a strong enough place that he won't be a Ralph Nader and cost an election, but can constantly move her left in the general?

I saw a George Pataki PAC ad on TV last night. I can't believe he is actually bothering to run Tongue.

Was anyone here expecting Bush to ever lead the "signalling game"?
