Finally, the Sanders people think they will need $50 million to compete, and it's unclear that Bernie is willing to devote the necessary time and energy to chasing big $ donations:

Walker zigzagging on immigration. On one hand, could hurt w/TP & wish-washy narrative. On other, all rivals w/partial exception of Cruz are essentially on same immigration page.

Jindal gains some NYC donors.

No, he was actually a major adviser to Romney and was considered a likely Secretary of Defense under him.

The latest edition of Ben Carson's syndicated column is about how he can be a better presidential candidate:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/mar/24/ben-carson-striving-to-be-a-better-presidential-ca/

As a result, the national syndication service that publishes his column is suspending the column, until Carson definitively decides whether he's going to run or not:

Isn't it a little presumptuous of Jeb to already begin vetting VPs? Even calling him a weak frontrunner may be too generous. Stories like this could backfire on him.

That said, Sandoval would be a smart pick for Jeb. Everyone talks about how Romney needed a "true conservative" VP to mollify the base, and the same for Jeb. But the reality is that the base is/was going to turn out for them in large numbers regardless due to their fierce hatred of Obama/Hillary.

Hillary did the same thing in 2008...take a look how that turned out.

So, we've got Rand Paul on April 7 and Marco Rubio on April 13.  Who would be next after Rubio?

Probably Clinton. Jindal, Bush, Walker, and Kasich probably won't announce until June or July

It will be interesting to see if they launch exploratory committees or just announce that they're running straight out, like Cruz. Exploratory committees are looking somewhat archaic in an age of PACs and Super PACs.

I'm guessing Paul and Rubio are dispensing of the exploratory phase since they are organising big media events for their home state announcements. And Clinton would be crucified by the press if she said she was only exploring a run.

Clinton might announce before Rubio.

Anyway, after Clinton, Paul, and Rubio, likely possibilities for the next person to announce would be Fiorina, Sanders, and Santorum.

It would be hilarious if Hillary announced on April 7, just to completely overshadow Rand Paul on his big day.

We need a pro-marijuana legalization candidate to announce on April 20th.

Or a pro-tax candidate to announce on April 15th.
