but will Sanders run as a Dem or an Indie. Obviously Hillary is hoping for the former.

definitely dem, no chance he'd run as an indie

Of course he's positioning himself as a backup in case Clinton doesn't run.

That's like being cast as Idina Menzel's understudy. You're almost definitely not going to have your shot, and everyone's going to be disappointed if you do.

I don't think Sanders is going to run, which would be the right call on his part.

From reading things coming from him i think hes going to run as an independent if he does.

Nah, he might be crazy but he's not stupid.

We need a pro-marijuana legalization candidate to announce on April 20th.

I don't think Clinton will announce before Rubio, so after April 13th. Not the day after, and then not the 15th since it's Tax Day and she might not like that coincidence. Also not April 20th because lol 420 marijuana. My random guess is either April 17th, the date she announced she was going to be a grandmother, or April 22nd, the date she won the Pennsylvania primary to keep her 2008 run alive for a little longer.

As if said on here since joining and for the last 2-3 years the 2016 election will be:

Rubio vs. Clinton

If Bush fizzles out, Walker says some stupid stuff, and Rand gets nowhere with the party, then yeah it could happen. Any specific matchup has much less than a 50% probability though.

It doesn't matter who announces now. The primary voters and caucusers are united behind TED CRUZ and his vision of common-sense constitutional conservatism. He'll cream the pinko hag in the general.

He won't get the chance to, because she's not running in the first place

I hope someone saved all the posts by people saying Clinton won't run.

Found this ol' gem:

So, question, what do you have to sign up for to get Clinton's announcement e-mail? Ready for Hillary?

I found all the YAF members' emails at my school and signed them up for Ready for Hillary Smiley

Looks like Cuomo will be appearing in many polls soon! Everyone knows that no means yes.

As long as you make sure everyone knows the context is presidential politics.

Bush will drop out at some point, but not because of Rubio.

When will be the next time the Democrats nominate a white male for POTUS?

Democratic fundraiser and supermarket owner says Bush will announce today in Miami, says he thought it was "common knowledge." http://nypost.com/2015/04/26/catsimatidis-blabs-jeb-bush-announcing-2016-bid-on-monday/

I'm not sure if I want to trust The Cat on this one.

He'd have a major advantage in New England. The Boltons do currently control the North, after all.

Apparently it's not his announcement yet. If he's already 99.9% sure he's running, what else could he possibly have to update?

Clearly she has a thing for that sexy mofo O'Malley. The Irish swagger always prevails.

He didn't once consider the optics of announcing his run in Clinton, Iowa?

It seems like he just wants to get it out of the way at this point, so I'll say more likely than not that he announces.

Webb says he will be making his decision in the next few days, which probably means he'll announce sometime next month at this rate.

Peter King just announced that he's not running for President. We will apprently not be having any Congressmen running for President.

Source?

I was watching him live on CNN when he said it so there weren't any articles at the time.

The remaining stragglers, rated from most likely to least likely to run:

Walker
Biden
Kasich
Gilmore
Ehrlich

Considering Kasich has set an announcement date and Gilmore is looking more likely than not to run while the Biden hype is based on one Democratic fundraiser, Biden should be below both of them (maybe above Ehrlich at best)

After what Biden did to his daughter, I'm surprised by how supportive he is of him.
