That would fit in with Larry King's tweet from a few days ago.

He's running level with her according to the most recent poll...not that he has a good chance of beating her, but it's hardly going to increase her chances.

Join the "crowded field"? It is a rather empty field at the moment.

He has a new fetish of rubbing ladies' shoulders with their husbands present, so he'd be wise to sit this one out...  The media and the GOP would eat him alive.

As do many other American males...

He's rarely in the public eye nowadays, so why not?

It says a lot that Kasich would likely be the 'RINO'/Jon Huntsman-esque candidate if he ran.

Didn't Kasich run as a Duncan Hunter (ideologically wise) type candidate for 2000? How times change.

Even though I strongly dislike SoCons, I welcome their candidacies...but aren't there enough in the race already?

I thought you were going to recite the theme tune to The Sopranos there for a second. Tongue

How convenient that Bill Clinton and Mike Huckabee hail from a place called Hope. Very American, that.

Carson is making his announcement about whether he'll run or not on May 4th, and then is immediately going to Iowa.  Which makes one wonder…hmmm…if he's going to Iowa, doesn't that mean that he's going to announce that yes, he is running for president?

Well, looks like Huckabee is doing the same thing: Hucka-announcement on May 5th, then various events in Iowa on May 6th and 7th:

Maybe Carson is going to Iowa to sample some of their fine cheeses...oh wait, that's Wisconsin, right?

Didn't Kasich run in 2000 as a very-much-not-a-moderate-hero candidate?
