Pataki may actually go with it this time because he realizes this is probably his last realistic attempt for a run given his age. That's the impression I've gotten, anyway. He may easily back out like the other times, though, and it would be no surprise at all.

You could be right
I know sources who work in the GOP who told me back in 2012 that Pataki was dead serious about running and that the campaign website (that was published here, btw) was a real deal. Walter Jones Jr. also had a shadow campaign ready in case Ron Paul decided not to run.

I saw a George Pataki PAC ad on TV last night. I can't believe he is actually bothering to run Tongue.

I know somebody who is a Rubio insider, and I haven't dared to ask him (nor would I say here if I did) if Rubio is running, but judging by this insiders credentials, I think Rubio is 100% running  for reelection next year. This is just publicity to bulk up his credentials as a high profile Senator and a "mover and a shaker."

Surprising; what role (if any) will Jesse Benton have?

I think with so many candidates they should make the Republican primary like Survivor/Apprentice, where, after each debate, one gets eliminated.
Maybe that can be Donald Trumps role!!

Peter King is running after all, it appears. I was beginning to think he was out.

Pataki is the only minor candidate who actually can be a dark horse, in my opinion.

Yeah, the 2016 bus needs room. Bill Clinton takes two seats up after all.

Unlike Pataki, Graham, Fiorina, or even Gilmore,  he won't actually run.

Pataki has at least as much of a chance as Graham.

Talk about bottom of the barrel as far as ex-Senators goes.
No, he was actually a major adviser to Romney and was considered a likely Secretary of Defense under him.

Rubio is on The Five, and just confirmed he's announcing something on April 13th, but didn't elaborate on what of course.

The Jesse Ventura/Howard Stern ticket is still undecided about running for President, but Ventura has decided that if he runs he will run as a libertarian.

Someone should have snatched the domain name.

According to Politico, Lindsey's main objective in a potential run would be to stop Paul. He says he'll decide on whether or not to run by late May.

This man is an embarrassment to the whole South.
As opposed to Rand Paul, who is an embarrassment to the entire nation?
Yeah, more embarrassing than a guy who voted to invade Iraq based on false information Roll Eyes

Seeing as how Ron Paul voted to authorize the invasion Iraq, I seriously doubt Rand Paul would have done any differently under the same circumstances. Nice try though.
