It seems to be quite low for both numbers.

No, it seems quite low if the population is you.

I think most people like both shows and certainly have a preference towards one over the other. That's part of the reason for Cartoon Wars. Trey/Matt were sick of people telling them that South Park and Family Guy were their favorite shows because they didn't like Family Guy. After that, perhaps it went down slightly, but I think most fans would be fans of the other.

It's like Socialists/Libertarians on the Internet. You may see a lot of hate on the Internet, but it's mostly just the very tiny but vocal minority of the other show looking to start some stuff. They are rather insignificant.

Far higher than BRTD thinks.

Remember that both of these shows are pretty lacking when it comes to intelligent humor. The Call of Duty demographic is probably more likely to enjoy South Park, while the Frat Bro demographic is going to appreciate Family Guy more (but these two groups have considerable overlap).

God don't all you Democrats realize that South Park is extremely conservative!

Being serious, I think it's high although both occupy different niches.

Before South Park made the episode making fun of Family Guy, the two shows had a heavy overlap. Unfortunatly, Parker and Stone created the divide between the two shows.

Yes of course, because as we know Parker and Stone are stupid and spiteful trolls. Seth never engaged in such things because he's pure class.

Or possibly because it turned out to be hilarious. The whole manatee conceit was absolutely golden.

Or possibly because he had enough of a dim sense of self-awareness to know that he had no room to talk.
