Add this stipulation to the national GOP rules:

"In the week immediately preceding the Iowa Caucuses, the RNC chair may unilaterally demand that up to three non-suspended candidates being regularly included in the national polls leave the race immediately. If the candidate or candidates commanded to leave do not leave, they will be ineligible to receive any delegates, and any delegates they would have been otherwise eligible to receive will be reallocated to the other candidates or to uncommitted according to each state's delegate allocation rules."

The RNC chair could have used this to boot out TRUMP, Cruz, and Carson this year. The other 9 candidates who ran in the Iowa caucuses were either sensible republicans or hopeless candidates.

lololol the implications of this.

I mean, it's a terrible post, but what are the "implications" other than the destruction of democracy?

Does there need to be anything else?

No. It's just that I kind of got the impression that there was.

I understand that.  I'm not exactly opposed to fewer people voting, especially when a lot of those folks who are unable to put in the time/energy to get an ID happen to be Democrats.  Plenty of liberals on here (and AAD) cheer when they know changing demographics (and immigration from other countries) mean more liberal voters, so I support laws that help conservatives at the polls.  Personally, I think re-instating some kind of poll tax would be just fine by me.

It's slightly more than flashes. Keep the name. Spade's glory must live on here too even though some don't have access to his gorgeous posts.

^ Spade is one of the all time greats and his name should forever be attached to this thread.

Yes, New Hampshire is a nice state, FF! Smiley
In the "opinion of fascists" thread, which has nothing to do with New Hampshire.
They showed their true colors in the 2012 Democratic primary.

Serious question: Why do you think Hillary Clinton won the NH Democratic primary in 2008? And don't tell me that Obama was too liberal for the state.
Also, this one, in the Opinion of West Virginia thread.

Bandit's response to Obama's executive order concerning transgendered people and school bathrooms is both predictable and absurd.

I support this order.

I hope he also issues an executive order abolishing mandatory uniforms in public schools.

Yes, of course I am concerned.  I would have prefered a stronger candidate, such as, say, Cuomo. The cost of failure is too high in this case.

I'm more concerned with the equating of gender identity expression to clothing expression.

From AAD, but by God, this is bad enough to be crossposted.

Of the three of them, only Barack has had the experience of having a transgender spouse, so it makes sense that he'd be more sensitive to this issue. [/quote]

I wasn't an active poster when the whole Kim Davis stuff happened, but she is a mild FF for me. I would not have done the same if I were in her position, but I believe her behavior was caused by deeply held religious convictions and I do not believe she is a hateful person. I went to Morehead to show my solidarity to her as a fellow KY Dem because I think her treatment by the media and the state Democratic Party was disgraceful.

It may sound melodramatic to you atheists out there, but the fact is, a Christian woman was sent to jail because she refused to violate her religious beliefs. I think we all know that if this were a Muslim clerk in Massachusetts who did the same thing, the state Democratic Party would have bent over backwards to find a middle ground for them.

Maybe Republicans don't care. But there's a reason he has the worst favorability rating of any nominee...ever.

Yeah, and you're a 23 year old man supporting a 69 year old woman who quotes Maya Angelou.

Huh? Sorry to break it to you, but under 30 voters are going to support her in the general, no matter how many imaginary anecdotes (which are about as predictive as Dick Morris electoral maps) you pump out.

How is this relevant to my initial post anyway?

I just find it funny that young white guys on this forum seem to be supporting an old white woman who panders to minorities.

In other words, the reason why I do not want Hillary President is that she offers nothing to me. As a white male what in the hell do I have in common with feminism, black lives matter, or inclusiveness? Hence why we have the gender gap.

Naso's on a roll.

What I am trying to figure out is how far does "Not judging and giving people their expression rights" go?

We are at a point right now where liberals say we are terrible people unless we agree that men who say they identify as women should be allowed to use the bathroom of their choice.

Are we on track to say, "If that person wants to have sex with children, we shouldn't judge..." ?? I mean, where is the line in the sand drawn? That's what I'm asking.

a borderline genocidal policy, so it's no surprise that dead0man loves it
Ah, the genocide accusation. Typically German. Populations generally do not increase during genocides, especially not at Gaza's rate... the fact that many Germans desperately want to think that "the Jews are just as bad as we were" in order to lessen their feelings of guilt over the Shoah (also evidenced by the insane number of Germans that visit Israel on anti-Israeli tours) doesn't actually make it true.

After Sanders gets his voters to vote Clinton and the election is over he should be stripped of seniority and put on all the crap committees that nobody cares about. He needs to be punished.

I think Trump would win a state like Nevada as well as CO, two states that liked Perot just as much.

The one who was actually elected as a Republican and supports the free market.
How can one both be a real republican and support the free market?

Nah, he's kinda right. What's a Republican that doesn't believe in handouts to the Golden parachute CEOs who "job create"? Reaganomics, Mellonomics, goldbuggery...it's all about that corporate socialism and not having too much "unstable competition".

If you want anything close to an actual free market, you need a more balanced approach than that and more anti-trust laws.

Bernie "white resentment" Sanders whipping up more white kids into violence and rioting while scamming them out of their money. I'm not sure whether to compare him to a televangelist or a fascist.
