She did the same thing in 2008 in her dogwhistle campaign against Obama.

Hopefully the chickens come to roost on this dishonest harpy.

Sexist vitriol has no place on this forum.

No; all I know is that she was an anarchist, and that's enough to convince me she was terrible.

Now I think there are a couple of people here who are self described socialists, so for those people I'd like to see if we can petition Dave to give us more avatars. Seems like a 1st Amendment problem and I hate having these rights taken away.

Green Party.

I have voted Green here in Austria since I was able to vote. But sometimes I disagree with them, like now for example when it comes to the asylum crisis. The Greens simply want to import as many asylum seekers as possible (100.000s of them) and let them have all the goodies that Austria provides for them. I simply want them deported, most of them - especially the 80% of young males that are coming instead of the women and children who are left behind in the war areas and who are the ones who should be here and not the men, who should fight against Assad and IS and not lurk around the local town squares and surf the internet on their 300€ phones ... I favour a moderate asylum approach with 20.000 asylum seekers max. and not 70.000-80.000 like this year and only for those who are really in need, not economic asylum seekers. The Green Party seems to be reality-denying and playing into the hands of the FPÖ with their constant "wide open barn-door philosophy".

How Adam T doesn't see the relevance of money donations to a charitable foundation is bad, it isn't on it's own, it's that simple. However it's not that simple, if you are Secretary of State and your spouse was once President of the United States, and influence peddling is name of the game when a donor gives money to the charitable foundation in exchange the donor receives favorable consideration from the State Department. On the optics alone, it leaves a bad impression and raises all sorts of questions over ethical & legal standards, a sense of a quid pro quo being enacted. So there's a problem,  and the Clinton's created it all on their lonesome.  So if they scream witch hunt & sexism. That dog won't hunt!

Dude, Minnesota's suburbs are not trending right.

We have like two GOP members who is in the suburbs. There used to be a lot more.

Twin Cities suburbanites are among the richest and best-educated in the country, you think they are attracted to the knuckle-dragging hillbillies from the south?

The "new" GOP has utterly repulsed Minnesotans.

Ugh. Obvious troll is obvious.
Troll?  No.  This is a very very common view among the cake eaters of the suburban twin cities.  And Minnesotans at large.  Anti-south sentiment is probably higher in MN than anywhere else.

And we think anywhere south of Des Moines or NYC is the south.

Deb Fischer, even though I don't like any of these hawks.

Hagel is a hawk!? wut.

Umm... yeah? What makes you think he isn't?

To be a hawk according to Sunrise means supporting the killing or displacement of every last Palestinian.

Turk is a great poster, but this is a ignorant statement on like 5 counts.

What?

>Claims to stand against gender discrimination.
>Has "Catholic" in the name.

Such a progressive

Uh, the Catholic church is not exactly progressive on gender discrimination.

No woman will ever lead the Catholic church, or hold any leadership position at all in it. And as I've said before, this issue is an absolute dealbreaker for me. I will never hold any type of affiliation with any church for which that is the case. 100% non-negotiable.

What?

>Claims to stand against gender discrimination.
>Has "Catholic" in the name.

Your anti-Catholicism is very silly.

See above.

You can't really compare Presidents across different historical periods.  Reagan was a horrible post-WWII 20th century President.  Buchanan was a horrible antebellum President.

Reagan is one of those horrible Presidents who we're lucky was President in the 1980s and not the 1860s or 1940s.  He was a Nazi sympathizer and would have been pro-slavery.
