Americans can't get the irony: it's a scientific fact.

Polls in June mean nothing. Just wait until the GOP smear machine rallies behind their racist leader and starts to blame everything on Hispanics and blacks.

I think Crabcake needs to spend some time in a padded cell before he hurts himself in despair at this brutish world we live in.

A Democrat can wish Trump dead and not be banned
A Democrat can blame the victims of the Chicago/San Jose riots and not be banned
A Democrat can compare Trump to Hitler and not be banned
A Democrat can compare other posters to Hitler/Nazis and not be banned
A Democrat can troll by saying Trump is a Russian agent and not be banned
A Democrat can post personal attacks and not have their posts moderated

But if you are a non-Democrat and support women, Jews, gays and other victims of Islamic/Democrat terrorism the unaccountable mods delete your posts and ban you as dissent is verboten.

It's no wonder long time non-Democrats on here have expressed their unhappiness about the one sided moderation.

I'm pretty sure Echochamber is a sock.

Though this forum is skewed toward the left wing of politics.

Write-in unless Hillary picks Warren as her running-mate.

Dude, you seriously want to live with President Drumpf? You don't even have the excuse that your State won't be in play.

No, a write-in does not equal a vote for Trump.  I don't like Sanders that much and Hillary is even worse.  If the Democrats want my vote, they should've run someone worth voting for.  I don't need an excuse for casting a protest vote, it's a perfectly legitimate use of one's vote.  I have an open mind and want to be convinced that Hillary's not as bad I think (obviously Trump is way worse, but that's beside the point), but that hasn't happened yet.  So with all due respect, folks like BRTD, Bedstuy, and yourself can take your entitled, patronizing whining and stick it where the sun don't shine Smiley  The Democratic Party isn't entitled to my vote and neither is Hillary.

Try making a case for Hillary.  It'd also be nice to see her supporters acknowledge and address the legitimate concerns about her (such as her hawkishness, her use of race-baiting, the e-mail scandal, etc) instead of just acting like she's the messiah.  FTR, I do think she has to deal with far more crap than many politicians due to the fact that she's a woman, but there are plenty of legitimate criticisms that her supporters seem unable or unwilling to address.

Its no more nativist nuttery than it is anarchist nuttery.  The country gave the left a chance in 2008 after being shut out of things for most of the 00's and 8 years later where has it gotten them?  The country is more racially divided and economically depressed than ever before.  The left has went completely insane, are we really throwing eggs at others exercising the right to free speech or in some cases shutting it down altogether ?    Tell me I didn't just see that?  A Muslim terrorist kills a room full of people and the lefts reaction is to blame law-abide citizens.

You guys shouldn't be worried about this election because you have successfully took control of the propaganda machine known as the media(social too) and entertainment that also delivers leftists propaganda.  Get use to a very divided country for the rest of your lifetime most likely.

The U.K. voted to leave the EU solely because of racism. UK voters hate immigrants so much to the point where they're willing to receive a huge economic recession just to keep immigrants out.

Pawlenty was a good Governor who shifted right for the primaries, but O'Malley's efficiency makes him a bit better.

Pawlenty is one of the best anti-establishment Republicans. He flip flopped for 2012, but he was efficient and I can easily understand admiration of him, just like I can understand admiration and support of people like Gingrich, Mitch Daniels, and Rand Paul.

If your opponent is going accuse you of running the most negative campaign ever, maybe you shouldn't run one of the most positive.

Even by jfern standards this one is strange. When has anything even remotely similar to this ever happened?

Where is the "This is a publicity stunt and not racist" option? The (fringe) candidate who made this made the sign specifically because he knew it would get attention. If you actually listen to his interviews, he's actually rather articulate, and it is clear that he means "white" in cultural, rather than racial, terms.

What's wrong with this?  Was Pawlenty a bad governor?

Oh yes, he was f[inks]ing horrid. Also he was not in any way shape or form "anti-establishment".

Wouldn't providing context mean including the title (eg Context: <title>)? That's what I've been doing. I keep seeing "Context:" with nothing actually following it, but it seems meaningless because it's no different than just posting a quote link, which everyone was already doing anyway.

Not every thread I've begun is based on a quote from Fox News (although I fully admit that a good number are, because I believe the Fox news people provide a much more objective version of what's going on than can be found on other news outlets). And yes, I read various books and sometimes have questions about the voracity of what I've read, so I post questions.  So I'm confused: do you have a problem with those who read, or those who ask questions?

WT-literal-F

I agree with him. It's hard to accept if you exclusively consume liberal media, but Fox is actually reasonably "fair and balanced".
