Like her party has room to talk. They have an actual, admitted socialist making a serious play for their nomination.

Almost every whitesox130 post I've ever seen is him whining about having to pay too much taxes.
LOL, I guess I've made a name for myself.

I promise I talk about other things.

Sorry, OC, but a state having "West" in its name doesn't automatically mean it's located in the Mountain West.
But it also has mountains! If a state has West in its name and is full of mountains, how can it not be in the Mountain West?

I live in a latino neighborhood, married into a latino family, and my clients at work are predominantly latino.

Trump is more than toxic. He's literally the devil here. Just saying his name puts a sour look on people's faces.

I have not, yet, met a Mexican who merely dislikes Trump. It is universally ranging between "dead scared" and "hate passionately". I do not think most Anglos realize just how toxic Trump is at this point.

I think that is WHY we love Trump. Mexico and everything about it has become just as toxic to many Americans.

I'm normally a pacifist in international affairs, but I'd be okay with making an exception for Mexico.
Are you suggesting war with Mexico?

The most important foreign policy priority for the US must be to maintain peace with its neighbors. The US and Mexico don't always have to agree, but there is no good reason to be hostile towards Mexico.

No, but aggressive negotiations are fine for me. Like "pay for the wall or we cut off remittances."

I'm normally against such hard-nosed dealing in most situations, but Mexico is run by the same corrupt oligarchs that have run their system for the past century - and they are milking us dry. From NAFTA to the Rubin-bailout to the stuff they pull with immigration today. And both illegals and their entire political culture are complicit in this, totally destroying the societies they flood.

I mean, he's not wrong about corruption in the Mexican system, and there are in fact a few good reasons to be concerned with mass undocumented immigration's effects on things like American wages, but claiming that Mexican immigrants are 'totally destroying' American society is ridiculous and racist.
Yeah, this post is just really bad.

Maybe West Virginia. Almost certainly no where else.

I could be wrong but I almost feel like Republicans hit their ceiling in West Virginia in 2012. He might gain a few votes there but lose a few others from Clinton loyalists so it'll probably stay the same.

I think he narrows the gap in Michigan, Wisconsin and possibly flips Ohio and New Hampshire.

It's not hard to see why 2008 and 2012 saw such dramatic shifts against the Democrats in Appalachia/Ozarks. That reason won't be on the ballot in 2016.
Do you really think it's just Obama, though? Id think these people would be more repulsed by the liberal activists and SJWs that have defined the left in many of their eyes the past 8 years.

I guess time will tell.

Susan Collins isn't a moderate, she's just what passes for one these days.

You're right- she isn't a moderate.  She is just a liberal.  Less liberal than Democrats, but still a liberal.  Being pro-abortion automatically puts one into the liberal camp, as the position is so ridiculous and extreme that it can't even fit into a moderate viewpoint.

LOL. I guess Mark Kirk is a Democrat now? And Bruce Rauner?
Also, is anyone really "pro-abortion"?

Yes, New Hampshire is a nice state, FF! Smiley
In the "opinion of fascists" thread, which has nothing to do with New Hampshire.
They showed their true colors in the 2012 Democratic primary.

Serious question: Why do you think Hillary Clinton won the NH Democratic primary in 2008? And don't tell me that Obama was too liberal for the state.
Also, this one, in the Opinion of West Virginia thread.

Some grade-A #analysis from AG. Because, as we all know, the party of Mitch McConnell will definitely let Bernie Sanders join them.

A lot depends on what happens between now and November. If he does not edorse Clinton and the Senate majority does not depend on it, I could easily see Dems asking him to leave the caucus. I mean, if Republicans want, they could give him a committee assignment and speaking time out of their share.
Yeah, that part is still less absurd than him even wanting to join the Republican caucus in the first place.

Better. Trump is much better at this than Romney ever was.

He is not running against a dark though.

It will be a hate crime to be a white opposite sex married couple within 10 years.
Someone's been reading too many fake SJW troll blogs lately.

That's a shame. Looks like almost every left-leaning person on this forum is going to jail. RIP.
And some right-wingers as well.

Powell

Johnson might tempt me a bit, but I would never feel comfortable voting for an atheist VP.

Tolerant, open-minded independent. Smiley

It would surprise me if there was a Wulfric post that didn't belong here.

Here:
I could be persuaded to endorse Flake or Kirkpatrick depending on what happens in the next 2 years.

Annoying? Yes. Absurd, ignorant, or bad? Not really.
I love how he acts like his endorsements carry so much weight.

Roll call predicts Begich will enter. D+2
I didn't know a party could make 2 pickups in a single Senate race with only one seat up for grabs.

I actually don't dislike Hillary, as she's had to put up with the world's worst husband who just happens to be a real people's person while she comes across more rigid; sometimes I feel for her.  However, I don't fall for the narrative that she's remotely centrist or pro-business on economic issues, so I think she has pretty terrible views, and she's obviously crooked as the day is long.

I despise Trump for what he's doing to my party and the disgusting campaign he's run.
Um, what's wrong with this?
Basically, Santander wants the Republican Party to embrace bigotry and redistribution. Also, apparently, he wants them to be anti-business.

This is the average white American male. He's happy to normalize and even glorify physical and emotional domination, violation, and abuse of everyone that isn't him.
Actually, legitimately curious as to whether this is something that should be reported to a moderator.

It's true though.

It's really not. The amount of White men that would agree with Trump's comments are minority.
So, is that an actionable post? I am not an expert on the rules here to say the least.

While a majority may not agree with them (as a White man, I certainly hope at least that much is true), it's clear that a supermajority of them consider them to be within the range of what's acceptable, since they are preparing to vote for the man who made those comment.
So, all Dems who are voting for Hillary think everything she's done is "within the range of what's acceptable"? I know I'm strongly considering voting for her, but I still think a lot of her stuff she's done is bad.

You don't have to agree with everything someone says or does to decide to vote for that person.
