2. $500 million shall be appropriated for this measure

I endorse this measure as almost every season we have wildfires that strike many areas of our region, including the Las Conchas fire which destroyed over 43,000 acres in my home state. California was recently struck by the largest drought in the history of the state.

Small to midsize farms struck by these disasters are often left without any resources to recover and frequently sell out to massive conglomerates, hurting the diversity of crops grown. The creation of the Farm Relief Bureau and the initial funding given to it will give it enough resources to cover now hurting farms and for operation in the foreseeable future.

Shall I message them every time I introduce legislation? They should be monitoring the "Regional Governments" board. I do admit culpability as I have been spending a lot of time with family over the past week.

Esteemed gentlemen,

On behalf of the Transcendental Democrats I would like to put forward an amendment to the bill

4. All taxes related to income and land use shall be abolished on all farms of a size under one acre

I call this "encouraging Microfarming amendment". I, and the Transcendental Democrats, believe firmly in the necessity of new and innovative ideas in the agricultural sector and microfarming is without doubt one of the waves of the future. Therefore the Pacific region needs to get behind and support the new and thrusting entrepreneurs in this sector before we are to made redundant and fall behind to other regions and parts of the world. I think, and we in the Transcendental Democrats likewise, that this proposed legislation will give the necessary boost to encourage such enterprises.

I accept this amendment as friendly.
