Oh you younglings. It was a simpler time back then. I remember I would go outside and ride the bike or play with hot wheels. I used to go to the library to find more information on things that interested me. If I want to talk with someone I would call them up on ye olde telephone we had. This was also before global warming so I remember having to walk in the snow to get to school. Uphill both ways!

Boy the way the Spice Girls played
Songs that made the NOW cds
The economy had it made
Those were the days.

And you knew who you were then
Girls were goths and men were emo
Mister, we could use a man like Bill Clinton again

Didn't need no austerity state
Everybody had slim weight
gee our Toyota Camry ran great
Those were the days!

Somewhere that needs to be an epitaph.

In the early 1990s there was a near-total media blackout on anything dealing with being gay other than AIDS stories and the occasional show like Tales of the City on PBS which, of course, you had to watch while it was on in real time or hope no one noticed you set the VCR to record it.

That sounds so lonely and terrifying Sad
