Nah, it wasn't boring for me, but I was 11 when we actually got internet in the home. Before that it was just something we used in school (though I do remember being very excited to use
this in elementary school). Before getting it in the home, I had encyclopedias, 4 TV stations via antennae (then later satellite), VCRs (we got a DVD player around the same time we got the internet), video games for a few years before that, a very active imagination and a computer for a year before I had internet.
