I don't think it's possible for a candidate to even legitimately poll as high as 58% in this polarized electorate. These numbers seem inflated.

The Fox poll showing Hillary up 7% is right, but coming off an election victory, like the G O P did, showed that it was more about Obama than the Democratic party itself, in decline. Which spells Lame duck president.

But I do see Hillary winning 52-48% at this point like Obama did in 12.

1,011 "adults" + booming economy + Christmas cheer + weak GOP'ers = legit result.

LOLOLOL! That would mean that she wins by a bigger margin than Reagan and LBJ. Is this a troll poll? Also, CNN had Warner up 15 points against Gillespie.

Keep in mind that polls are just snapshots. I definitely wouldn't expect Hillary to win by anything like 20%, but even if this poll is biased, candidates like Paul and Cruz especially will face an uphill climb.

If Hillary wins by half of these amounts it's a great Democratic evening. Still, it's encouraging not because Hillary will get anything close to 60% but that such a large % of people will consider voting for her including many McCain/Romney voters.

This was also in the poll. Pretty bad numbers for Jeb, but actually not as bad as I expected.

Her latest favorability rating was roughly 48%, how can she reach 60% in the polls?

It's because people interpret the poll as an either or. They know little about Ted Cruz, or only know what the news shows them, so they go to Clinton instead.

Still, these are good numbers.

Bush has a much higher floor than the others but the GOP might be wise to take a chance. Jeb won't be able to explain why another Bush should get the chance to ruin America after his brother already did.

Because people dislike Republicans more?

Yes, let's see the Sanders/Warren numbers trailing all of these Republicans. Maybe that'll throw some water on the "True Progressives."

Lol at Ted Cruz. What a joke. I wonder if he's now polling at Palin levels against her.

Per Hill winning some of the McCain/Romney voters, McCain himself even admitted that it would be a "tough decision" between her and Ayn Rand Paul.

LOL! McCain! Seriously? McCain would vote for anyone who supports an aggressive foreign policy (someone like Hillary). He is even worse than Bush in that regard. A Democrat being endorsed by McCain... yeah, that's something to be proud of! I could see him doing a Zell Miller in 2016.

I'm sure you felt the same way about the numerous Republicans who came out to endorse Obama, right? They were awful too (Colin Powell, William Weld, Larry Pressler, Wayne Gilchrest, Lincoln Chafee, Arne Carlson)? McCain opposes torture at Guantanomo Bay. I don't think he's worse than Bush.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) joked that it would be a tough decision to vote for Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) over Democrat Hillary Clinton if both won their party’s presidential nomination in 2016.

“It’s gonna be a tough choice,” McCain said with a laugh when asked about it in an interview with the New Republic published Tuesday.

A poll of "adults".

Toss.

Only RV polls should be used.

Many of the RV adults of 2016 are not registered voters in 2014.

Turnout in open-seat Presidential years is usually high, and it could be even higher in a year in which one of the Parties is extremely unpopular.

The right wing attack brigade has not yet swiftboated her. She'll still win but not by these numbers. We haven't heard the last of the made up Bengazi "scandal."

Well duh. They haven't shut up about it since it happened. But still nobody besides the wingnutosphere cares. Tongue I mean, if it didn't work against Obama immediately after it happened, why would it work against Hillary years later?

It won't work and they know it. Honestly: Looking at these polls and the Benghazi nutjobs, I almost feel sorry for the GOP Sad. They are going to get annihilated and there is nothing they can do about it. I guess we can say that the GOP is on death row. Execution date: Nov. 8, 2016
