Post your predictions for 2015 here.

I'll start:

1. George H.W. Bush might pass away (This might happen this year. I really hope he dosen't though. He was a great president).

2. Status Quo when it comes to the elections next year (Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi).

3. 2015 will be a better year for me.

I'll think of more later. Now you guys try.

Oh, how I'd love for that to happen but Russia definitely won't be stripped of their hosting privileges. Qatar is still somewhat possible (thankfully) but 2018 is staying where it is.

"Democrats continue to govern stupidly."

Aside from this being one of your very brief and very vague comments, I wonder if it's genuine ignorance as well. I guess it could mean the Obama Administration but wouldn't you just say "Obama and Co. continue to govern stupidly?" It makes me wonder if you are unaware that the Dems won't be governing much of anything in 2015 as a result of the 2014 elections.

1. Hillary Clinton announces in March.
2. George HW Bush, Chuck Berry will die.
3. Fidel Castro will be alive and well at the end of the year.
4. ISIS will collapse on their own weight.
5. Howard Stern signs for another five years with Sirius.
6. Dennis Michael Lynch will end his campaign by March and be forgotten.
7. Bob Dylan's new album will get positive press (which I'd imagine it does deserve), but only because he is Bob Dylan.
8. Tom Waits will go on tour, the Grateful Dead will not (due to Bob Weir's health).
9. Obama will not visit Cuba, but Raul Castro will visit America.
10. North Korean-American relations will thaw once again (to the extent that they can thaw, of course).

Yes, sorry I didn't delve into explicit details after working a 6 hour shift, my apologies. The Obama administration is indeed what I meant, along with the Democrats at some state levels. So sorry you missed my intention, O Great One.

A six hour shift? Oh, Christ!

Following shifts of 6 and 7.5 hours the previous two days, to go with my 51.5 hours of work over 2 weeks, as a part time employee who is also a high school student. But y'know, I'm just complaining.

Has there ever been a session of Congress that went from start to finish with no one dying?

1. The vast majority continues to labor under despotic conditions for the benefit of a few parasites

2. Said parasites continue to control both major political parties and determine the foreign and domestic policies of the United States government

3. Said majority continues organizing against said parasites on the streets and in the workplaces. Strikes erupt in various places. Some are won, some are lost. Some occur in industries (such as fast food and/or retail) that they've been sporadic or nonexistent in before

4. A major city enacts a $15 an hour minimum wage law

5. Anticapitalist ideas continue to get a hearing across the nation and the world as a whole

1. President Obama wins fast track trade promotion authority from the Republican Congress sometime in the spring.

2. The Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement (including Japanese concessions on agriculture) is subsequently passed and signed into law later in the summer.

3. Republicans consolidate control of the Mississippi and Louisiana legislatures, as well as retaining the governorship of both states.

And that's about as far as I will go for now.....
