The exact opposite of the truth. A quick search of the term AntiFa on Youtube would throw up numerous examples. So would reading the history of the Russian Revolution, the FARC, the Red Brigades, I could go on but you get the idea. In this very thread we see people advocating for left wing political activists to 'punch nazis' (whoever they might deem to be nazis today). What is that if not left wing violence?

After you Google AntiFa you should google Fascism and remember what we need those punches for.

Anti-Fascism makes as much sense in the 21st century as anti-colonialism.

A person isn't reducible to some quantifiable collection of identities that can be measured against anyone else's. It's a useless method of understanding people in context, and a piss-poor means of doing politics.

Moral cowards like Torie and muon2 are representative of the kind of people from their generation who have risen to leadership roles. I wish that this collective realization had come about earlier. We think of them as decent people while condemning the Sam Spades and jaichinds, but they're not any better and never have been. I fear that this will only become more abundantly obvious over the next several years.

The love for muon2 is confounding.  Here's one of the only members of the community who has actual power and influence - and everyone sucks up to him even though he's a coward and a bigot.  His entire philosophy appears to boil down to "I've got mine, so screw you."  This is not someone worth emulating.  He is an appeaser, and he offers nothing but complicity in the face of prejudice.  His legacy is Donald Trump.

-Rubio was less popular, Trump more popular, and Cruz as popular outside TN's counties that swung toward HRC. ExtremeRepublican would be just as extreme if he knew lots of poor people; however, he'd be much more pro-Trump and less pro-Rubio.
