Criticism of Israel is not ipso facto anti-Semitic but can and often does contain (or, at worst, consist in) anti-Semitic dog whistles and innuendos. Corbyn hasn't to my knowledge been particularly bad about this himself, but he's given aid and comfort to people who have and it's legitimate to see it as a blot on him. I can't believe I have to spell this out.

I say this as someone who wants to come round on Corbyn but still considers this a real sticking point.

Notice, by the way, how blaming Obama or Bernie Sanders for this is fair game, but mention a single word about gun control and you're "politicizing tragedy."  I've never been a big proponent of tight gun control laws, but the way they deflect on this issue is very obvious and something only idiots (i.e. Americans) would fail to see.

I love that the defense of this bill is "no one will actually use it" or "if you read it carefully, it doesn't allow anyone to do anything different," as if it isn't actually a law that was passed to effect policy.

Yet same sex marriage or other LGBT legislation will absolutely, definitely force all ministers to march in gay parades with cakes, under pain of death.
